Our Mission
What is InfraGard?
InfraGard is a partnership between the FBI and members of the private sector for the protection of U.S. critical infrastructure. Through InfraGard, members gain access to timely threat information and a trusted network of peers across the sixteen critical infrastructure sectors identified by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
The Nebraska chapter brings this national partnership to a regional level, connecting local professionals in energy, healthcare, agriculture, financial services, government, and other sectors with the FBI Omaha Field Office and one another.
Our chapter is run by a volunteer board of directors elected from the membership, and all chapter activities are conducted in accordance with InfraGard National Members Alliance policies.

What is InfraGard?
InfraGard is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and members of the private sector for the protection of U.S. critical infrastructure. It provides a trusted environment for information sharing about physical and cyber threats.
Who can join?
InfraGard membership is open to owners, operators, and professionals who protect critical infrastructure across any of the sixteen sectors defined by CISA, as well as security professionals, academics, and other stakeholders invested in protecting those systems. All applicants undergo a vetting process.
Is there a cost to join?
InfraGard membership itself is free. Some chapter events or conferences may carry a registration fee to cover venue and materials costs.
How is Nebraska InfraGard organized?
Nebraska InfraGard is a member-run chapter (a "Members Alliance") supported by a volunteer board and coordinated with the FBI Omaha Field Office.
What do IMA and INMA mean?
IMA stands for InfraGard Members Alliance — the term for a local chapter, like Nebraska's. INMA stands for InfraGard National Members Alliance — the national organization that all IMA chapters are part of.
